Tankoua, Noah earn spots in San Beda's Season 93 roster

MANILA, Philippines - San Beda will field in Cameroonian players Donald Tankoua and Arnaud Noah when it launches its bid for back-to-back titles in the NCAA Season 93 tournament on July 8 at the Mall of Asia Arena.

"After hours of deliberation, we decided that Tankoua and Noah should stay as San Beda's foreign players in Season 93," said San Beda team manager Jude Roque.

Their decision means Nigerian Toba Eugene will sit out yet another season for the Red Lions.

Tankoua will make a much-awaited return after his campaign in Season 92 was cut short by an ACL injury in the second round. Noah, meanwhile, will try to build on a solid campaign that includes winning the Finals MVP trophy.

The 20-year-old Eugene will most likely make his debut next year.

Noah is expected to get the start while San Beda waits for Tankoua to fully recover, which they estimate will happen by the second round.
